Dive Into Learning at Rockville Elementary!
We are excited to welcome our Wildcats and their families to Rockville Elementary for our 2026–2027 Open House! Open House is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to begin the school year with confidence and excitement.
Students will have the chance to meet their teacher, find their classroom, and drop off school supplies, helping everyone become familiar with their new learning environment before the first day of school. Taking these important first steps together creates a smooth transition and allows students to begin the year feeling comfortable, connected, and ready to learn.
As we kick off our "Dive Into Learning" school year, we can't wait to partner with our families to make this an incredible year of growth, discovery, and success. We look forward to seeing you on Monday, August 11, and welcome you to Rockville Elementary!
Open House Schedule:
Kindergarten Parent Meet & Greet (by appointment): 4:00–6:00 p.m.
1st & 2nd Grade Open House: 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Pre-K , 6th Grade and 9th Grade all have their first day on August 12, 2026.
Due to The City of Louisburg's Water Treatment being non-operational, the school district will be closed on May 5th. Updates can be found on the city's Facebook page and website.
We are excited to celebrate Field Day on Friday, May 15th — rain or shine!
This cherished elementary tradition is a wonderful opportunity for students to have fun, stay active, and make lasting memories with their classmates.
If the weather cooperates and we are able to hold events outdoors, families are welcome to attend and cheer on their children during the fun rotations. If we need to move activities indoors due to weather, only scheduled volunteers will be able to attend due to space limitations.
