Car Rider Pick-Up

Enter from Rockville Road.

Follow traffic east on 8th Street, turn left at the dead end, then right at the T.

Make a U-turn past the playground, then follow the yellow arrows to the front circle drive.

Staff (“Purple Valet”) will help your child into your car.

Display your nametag placard (from Open House) on the passenger visor or window to speed up the process.

If your child needs help buckling up, please pull forward to the backside of the loop before assisting them.

Dismissal begins at 3:20 p.m. Please pick up your child by 3:35 p.m.

If you’ll be later than 3:35, call 913-837-1970 so we can make arrangements.

Dismissal Changes

If you need to change after-school plans, call the office before 2:30 p.m.

Do not rely only on telling the teacher—teachers may be absent or unable to check email.

Hello Summer! Louisburg School District wants all our students to have a wonderful summer break. May 22, 2025 through August 13, 2025 for K - 12. First day of school for Preschool, 6th Grade and 9th Grade will be August 13,2025. First day of school for all other grades will be August 14, 2025.
