The United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association recognize member schools with a team academic award who earn a team GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The 2021-22 Louisburg High School volleyball team achieved that standard and were one of nine schools to be bestowed the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award.
This is not a new award to the program as prior teams have achieved this honor many consecutive years. We congratulate last year's volleyball team on continuing the legacy of academic success as student athletes that the volleyball program has made a standard.
