The Louisburg Recreation Commission has 5 board members. Two are appointed by the City of Louisburg. Two are appointed by Louisburg School District. The 5th board member is appointed by the other four LRC Board Members. One of the two seats that the school district appoints is expiring in December 2025. The newly appointed board member will serve a 4-year term (January 2026 - December 2029) and must reside in the USD #416 boundaries.
