  • Students who desire a schedule change for either semester should make arrangements with Student Services before the semester begins.  Late schedule changes will be made as deemed necessary by the administration.
  • Classes listed on enrollment forms may be canceled by the administration if enrollments are low.
  • Students who have failed a semester or more of a required subject must either take the course in summer school or retake during the following year, dependent on which course that has been failed.
  • To meet the "Fine Art" graduation requirement a student must take at least one full credit from any of the following:
    • All art classes
    • all music classes
    • Forensics
    • Intro to Theatre
    • Drama
  • AP Classes will be based on a 5.0 grade point average scale rather than the traditional 4.0 scale.  For example, (when computing grade averages) and "A" will be worth 5 points, a "B" worth 4 points, a "C" worth 3, and a "D" worth 2.  An F will still receive 0 points toward the student's grade point average.  All other classes in the curriculum are based on a 4.0 scale.
  • In addition to meeting the district's course and total credit graduation requirements, all students graduating from Louisburg High School must successfully complete a Graduation Research Project (GRP).  Students will begin working on their GRP proposal during the second semester of the junior year and will be expected to complete their project, as well as the research document, portfolio, and oral presentation during their senior year.
