April 2016 Superintendent Newsletter
Dear USD #416 Wildcat Family,
Someone has to be “fooling” us to think it is already April 1st! As the weather turns warmer and the grass turns greener, it begins to pull all of us out of the winter doldrums and into the busy time of spring! During this time of year, there seems to be some school event every day of the week! I enjoy watching and supporting our students perform and compete in the various activities that our students are involved in throughout our school district. I am always amazed by the talent and how our students represent our community! It is another reason I am proud to be a Wildcat!
We appreciate everyone who took the time to take the short survey that was sent out. We will review the results and strive to make the needed improvements. As a school district, we know we can always improve in some areas and your input will be helpful in making us turn our attention to some critical areas. Your positive partnership along this educational journey is critical and appreciated! If there are ever any other areas of improvement you would like us to know about, please communicate these ideas with your child’s teacher or principal. We want to provide the best education experience for each child as they move through our school district. Once again, thanks for taking the time to take the survey.
As we head down the final backstretch of the school year, your support with your child’s learning will be even more critical. I know students are counting the days until summer, but we have a lot of work still to do! Please encourage them to stay focused on academics until the end of May. I know I have to tell my own children that we are not at the end of school yet! Your support is so important to the overall success of another positive school year!
All my best!
