New Administrators Announced for USD #416

Next school year, USD #416 will welcome two new administrators.


Dr. Brian Biermann, currently the assistant superintendent in Pittsburg, Kansas, will take over the superintendent position on July 1, 2014.  Dr. Biermann has been at Pittsburg for three years.  Prior to this time, he served as the Louisburg Middle School Principal from 2007 to 2011.  Dr. Biermann is excited to move his family to the Louisburg Community.  His wife, Julie, is a Registered Nurse at Olathe Medical Center and is currently working on her Nurse Practitioner Degree through UMKC.  They have two sons.  Jace will be a 5th grader and Kyler will be a 3rd grader at Broadmoor Elementary School. 

Bret Koesser, USD #416 Board of Education President, states, “Dr. Biermann possesses a profound passion for educating children and has proven leadership skills.  We look forward to continuing the excellent education available in USD #416 under Dr. Biermann’s direction and leadership.”





When the Louisburg Middle School staff and students come back in August, they will have a new principal leading them at LMS.  Michael Isaacsen was recently hired for the LMS Principal position.  Mr. Isaacsen is currently serving as an assistant middle school principal for Turner Middle School. 

Dr. Brian Biermann, USD #416 Superintendent-elect, states, “We are excited to welcome Michael Isaacsen to the Louisburg Community!  He has an intense passion about middle school students and staff.  Mr. Isaacsen is eager to begin this new position and get to know the staff and students.  He will make an immediate impact on our students, staff, parents, and community!”
