Louisburg USD 416 Long Range Planning
During the 2012-13 school year the Louisburg - USD 416 Board of Education embarked on a long range planning process for the school district that will provide guidance for the next 3-5 years.
Nearly 100 community and staff members participated in conversations regarding what was important for the continued growth of the district with regard to academic performance, staff needs, communication plans, technology, and facility issues. These dedicated patrons spent time reviewing what has taken place in the past and participated in creating plans for the future. Two outside facilitators directed the meetings providing direction for the community meetings. In January 2013, the plan was formally adopted by the Board.
This document will be reviewed on a regular basis and updated as needed. The community is an integral part of the success of the school district and it is hoped that this plan will continue to provide for the outstanding programs that are currently in place as well as new initiatives that may need to be implemented to ensure that the district continues to improve.
