Little Mermaid Early Bird Ticket Form Louisburg High School proudly presents this year's musical,  The Little Mermaid  on November 10th, 11th and 12th.  Early bird tickets are on sale now!  Please carefully fill out the attached form and return with payment to your child's school.  All checks should be written to LHS.

USD #416 ACT scores released

ACT released composite scores for the ACT test that was administered last year.  Once again, Louisburg students scored well on the test.  The average composite score for a Louisburg student was 23.2.  The average composite score for a student across Kansas was 21.7.  We will continue to work hard, academically, to challenge and support each student.  We are proud of their accomplishment and appreciate staff and . . .

Louisburg Band Recognized at the Statehouse!

On Tuesday, May 2nd, Mr. John  Cisetti , Director of Bands, Dr. Brian  Biermann , Superintendent of Schools, Hannah Becker, Julia Walker, and Chloe  Philgreen ,  LHS  Band Drum Majors, were recognized at the Statehouse in Topeka.  The group met with Governor  Brownback  and then were guests on the Senate and House Floor while resolutions were read by Senator  Baumgardner  and . . .

Seidl and Quinn named USD #416 Teachers of the Year!

On Friday, April 7th, Arianne Seidl and Mary Quinn were selected as the 2017-2018 Teachers of the Year for the Louisburg School District.  Mrs. Seidl, Physical Education Teacher, will represent the district as the elementary teacher of the year.  Mrs. Quinn, LHS English Teacher, will represent the district as the secondary teacher of the year.  Both teachers will now complete the application process for the Kansas Teacher . . .
