The last day for snacks, ala carte, salads and box lunches is Friday May 10th.
Your child will not be able to have lunch or breakfast with a negative balance after Friday May 10th. Make sure you child has money in their lunch account.

Please note that parent portal grades will be closed beginning on Thursday, May 16th. This is to allow staff time to enter and finalize grades for the semester. Parent portal will be opened again for viewing on May 24th.

2013-14 Free/Reduced Applications will be available online July 1, 2013. Hard copies are available at district office July 29 - August 1 (by appointment). Forms need to be turned in PRIOR to August 1 to be eligible for waived or reduced fees.

Notice regarding fees and buses for 13-14 school year.
Parents please wait on making payments until the fees have been updated to reflect 2013-14 (FY14). These will not be updated until the after the 2012-2013 school year is completed.
Reminders of the enrollment forms being available online and the process will be sent out in June.
NOTE: Changes in Louisburg fee payment process for 2013-14:
FULL PAYMENT – due August 7, 2013
· Full payment of school fees due on walk-in date of Tuesday, August 7, 2013.
· If eligible for waived or reduced fees, application must be completed PRIOR to August 1, 2013 for processing to be completed in time for walk-in date. 2013-14 Free/Reduced Applications will be available online July 1, 2013. Hard copies available at district office July 29 - August 1 or by appointment. Forms need to be turned in PRIOR to August 1 for eligibility to be determined for waived fees in a timely manner or full payment will be expected.
BUS FEES – completed at Bus Barn (early payment for reduced fee)
· Bus riders must have a 2013-14 registration form on file in the transportation office in order to ride the bus. There will be a walk-in bus enrollment on June 28, 2013 at the transportation office located at 7420 W. 68 Highway across from Louisburg Middle School. Bus enrollment will be from 9 am to 7 pm.
o Single Rider PAID BEFORE July 1st - $165
o Maximum Family Fee PAID BEFORE July 1st - $240
o Single Rider paid AFTER July 1st - $175

Miami County/Paola now has a health clinic available. It is called the Health Partnership Clinic. Itis located in the recently renovated, new location of Elizabeth Layton Center, at 25955 W. 327th Street, Paola (out by Lang Chevrolet). It is a separate service, not related to Elizabeth Layton Center.The clinic will have 2 Physician’s Assistants to serve patients with medical needs. There might be a fee for the services, but it is based on family income and ability to pay. Take proof of income to the appointment. Call them and they will explain what documents are allowed and needed. They WILL accept all KanCare Medicaid plans and will serve patients with medical insurance as well. For example, a family has medical insurance, but cannot afford the co-pay or get medication. This clinic could be an option.
They may waive the co-pay and assist with obtaining medication.
To make appointments, call (913) 294-9223 or toll free at 1-855-886-6938. They will have extended hours until 7:00 pm on Wednesdays and they will be open the 2nd Saturday of each month, from 8:00 am to 5:00pm.
