Dear Wildcat Family,
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! We are excited to begin another school year and welcome all of the new students; especially our new incoming 6th grade class. Our staff at LMS is an excellent and supportive group of caring educators. Each child is able to experience an individualized educational experience that combines the support and rigor each child needs at the middle school level.
Louisburg Middle School prides itself in all of the wonderful student and staff accomplishments we achieve and receive. Each year, our students continue to do great things in the classroom and continue to score very high on state and local assessments. Furthermore, our students create wonderful projects and assignments that show their individual skills and abilities. Our student-athletes always compete to their fullest potential and represent our school with great pride and enthusiasm.
As always, I would recommend all students to get involved in their educational process. It is important that all students stay on top of their homework and studies. Organization and ongoing communication are also keys to success. We have many communication avenues and all students and parents should use these communication devices to aid in the educational process. Some of these communication avenues include: parent portal, monthly newsletters, teachers’ calendars, email, and parent-teacher meetings throughout the school year. If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please contact the school and/or their teacher. We encourage you to become an active participant in your child’s education as well.
Louisburg is a wonderful community and we are glad you have chosen Louisburg as your community to live in. Louisburg has a long-standing tradition of excellence and we are glad we can continue this at Louisburg Middle School. I am confidant your child will be experiencing one of the finest middle schools in the state! Our facility, staff, and curriculum are top-notch! Thank you for your continued support of our school and I look forward to every student having a wonderful learning experience in the upcoming school year.
