What are CAT-Backers?
The LHS CAT-Backers is an organization composed of parents, coaches, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and local businesses that support the extracurricular organizations at Louisburg High School. Formerly the LHS Booster Club—we changed the name because some people thought the LHS Booster Club supported only athletics. In reality, the organization supports ALL LHS extracurricular clubs and activities. The new name is a reminder that we “have the backs” of ALL our wildcats!
The LHS CAT-Backers does not do any fundraising. All of our funds are obtained solely through memberships, spiritwear and concessions.
What did LHS CAT-Backers do for 2011-2012 school year?
• Purchased caps and gowns FOR EVERY graduating senior.
• Recognized 32 nominated outstanding LHS students with a $25 Wildcat Punch card.
• Awarded over $4,000 in classroom or organization grant requests.
• Will award a minimum of (4) $ 500.00 scholarships to LHS graduates.
• Promotes & supports a positive image of LHS to the community.
• Sponsors the After–Prom program at LHS.
• Provides concession stands for the home LHS football, track, baseball and softball events.
How do you join?
• Complete the 12-13 application listed below
• Select a level of membership for the 12-13 school year
• Select your complimentary CAT-Backer gift if applicable with level of membership
• Return application with payment to LHS CAT-Backers
