STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS for September 3, 2010
Cross country results: The cross country meet at Anderson County
has been rescheduled for today. Runners will be dismissed at the
end of 6th Block...they will not report to 8th Block. Races begin
at 3:30.
9th grade football results: Lost.
Soccer results: Will be rescheduled.
JV volleyball results: Went 1 and 1.
1. Today: Varsity football at home with Eudora at 7:00. Little
cheerleaders will perform. Everyone who purchased an activity pass
should enter the game through the south gate.
• A reminder to parents that there will be a tail gate party in the
LHS high school parking lot immediately following the game.
Freshmen, sophomore and juniors parents should bring a side dish or
dessert and senior parents will provide the meat, drinks, and
buns.
• Any student interested in filming the football games should see
Coach Griffin asap.
2. Monday: No school.
• The band will perform in the Labor Day Parade.
• JV football at Eudora at 4:30. Bus leaves at 2:45.
3. Tuesday will be a purple day.
• Varsity/JV soccer at 4:00 at Paola. Class dismissal is 2:50; bus
leaves at 3:05.
• JV/9th volleyball at home with Blue Valley West and
Wellsville.
4. The deadline to order class t-shirts will be Sept.
15th.
5. Mark your calendars; there will be a short National Honor
Society Meeting at 7:30 a.m. on September 10th. All current
National Honor Society members should plan on attending. The
meeting will be held in the student services conference room.
Seniors, the Paw print forms are due September 10th Please return

Dear Lil’ Cheer Parents,
Thank you for participating in our annual lil’ cheer clinic
fundraiser. Here are a few details about next Friday’s game:
Please take your daughter to Broadmoor Elementary School beginning
at 6:00 p.m. and no later than 6:15 p.m. This will give us time to
get her checked in, changed into the cheer t-shirt and time to
practice with their high school cheerleaders. The t-shirts are gray
with purple lettering; shorts, skirts, or leggings with tennis
shoes would be appropriate to wear with it. Once your daughter is
checked in and has changed her shirt, please leave her with the
assigned cheerleaders. Before the game begins the cheerleaders will
walk the lil’ cheerleaders over to the stadium. They will take
turns cheering in groups. After half time performance please go to
the track and pick up your daughter.
