THURSDAY, MARCH 16

‚ÄčLunch: Hot Dog or Chicken Sandwich

*After School Assistance-Math-3:15-4:30 in Room 328

*Soccer- @ Tonganoxie HS – Varsity at 4:30 and JV at 6:00 – dismissed from class at 1:45 and bus leaves at 2:00.  Due to renovations, game will be played on the field behind West Campus Building and Varsity will play first.  Adults $5.00 & Students $4.00

*Friday Night School – 3:05 in Room 321

 

FRIDAY, MARCH 17 – NO SCHOOL

*NO SCHOOL – Teacher In-Service & Record Keeping

*Band- @ Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Report to the Band Room at 8:00 and buses leave at 8:35.

*Football- 10:00 a.m. in Coach Ebenstein’s Room 226– Meeting for any current freshman through Juniors who are interested in playing football next year. This will be a short meeting to cover some basic information needed for this season. If you will already be out of town for spring break or cannot make it please see or email Coach E prior to spring break.

 

MONDAY, MARCH 20- FRIDAY, MARCH 24 -SPRING BREAK

*Spring Break Sports Practice:

            Soccer-4:00-6:00 Thursday, Friday & Saturday

            Softball-9:00-11:00 Thursday & Friday  and 5:00-7:00 on Sunday

*Pay to Participate Fee of $80.00 for each sport the day BEFORE the FIRST GAME.  Students will not be able to participate unless the fee is paid. This fee can be paid on SKYWARD or by check to the Main Office.

Golf-  Friday, March 31

*Out of School Date Form for Prom- available in the Main Office- No one younger than high school age or anyone 21 or older will be admitted.  Approved guests must present picture ID to gain admittance. They are due Monday, March 27, 2017. Out of School Date Prom 2017

*Wrestling Banquet-6:00 p.m. Monday, March 27 in the Commons

*Basketball Awards Banquet – 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 in the Commons

*Band Parent Meeting – 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30 in the Band Room

*STUCO: Any student interested in being a Student Council officer, class officer, or class representative for the 2017-2018 school year needs to complete the required forms. These packets can be picked from your advisory teacher. Please see Mr. Pickman or Mrs. Callaway if you have any questions. Forms are due to Mr. Pickman or Mrs. Callaway by Wednesday, March 29th by 3:05 pm.

*Attention Parents:  Prom is less than a month away which means the Post Prom Committee is looking for volunteers and additional donations to support the event.  Interested?  Please see the attached flyer for more details.  Post Prom

*Worlds of Fun -Congratulations to the senior class- on winning the class points competition this year.  Narrowly beating out the juniors.  Seniors, you have earned the trip to Worlds of Fun occurring on May 10. The cost to go is 28.00 dollars and must be paid to the office no later than April 7.  You will need to also pick up and fill out a field trip permission slip from the Main office and return it by May 10 to Mrs. Callaway or Mr. Pickman.  A flyer is attached with the information needed.  Worlds of Fun 2017

*Job Opportunity- Granny's Schoolhouse is needing someone to work in the daycare from 3:30-6:00. Please call 837-5222 for more information on how to apply.

Job Opportunity - Anyone interested in gardening and yard work after school for several weeks, please contact Student Services for contact information.

*Job Opportunity- Metcalf Ridge Golf Course is looking for workers to help with grounds keeping on the course and in the clubhouse. Clubhouse workers must be 18 or older. Call 913-837-5476 if interested.

*Job Opportunity-Auburn Pharmacy is looking to fill a couple of positions that would be 2-3 weekdays after school (4:00-7:00PM) and some Saturdays (9:00AM- 4:00PM). Duties would include cash register work, work in the pharmacy and customer service.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. Wright in student services.
