The Louisburg FFA traveled to the 90th National FFA Convention last week with three teams.  Food Science- Hallie Hutsell, Faith Seuferling, Addie Katzer, Hattie Harris; Floriculture- Kaithly Urban, Shaylor Whitham, Carli Caplinger, Brody Knipp; Nursery and Landscape- Bryn O'Meara, Kaitlyn Gaza, Megan Eberhart, Barrett Eccher. Rhonda Tyson Recognized by KAHPERD

USD #416 ACT scores released

ACT released composite scores for the ACT test that was administered last year.  Once again, Louisburg students scored well on the test.  The average composite score for a Louisburg student was 23.2.  The average composite score for a student across Kansas was 21.7.  We will continue to work hard, academically, to challenge and support each student.  We are proud of their accomplishment and appreciate staff and . . .

Seidl and Quinn named USD #416 Teachers of the Year!

On Friday, April 7th, Arianne Seidl and Mary Quinn were selected as the 2017-2018 Teachers of the Year for the Louisburg School District.  Mrs. Seidl, Physical Education Teacher, will represent the district as the elementary teacher of the year.  Mrs. Quinn, LHS English Teacher, will represent the district as the secondary teacher of the year.  Both teachers will now complete the application process for the Kansas Teacher . . .
