Brock Bila, LHS junior wins 2018 Kansas State High School Bass Fishing Title
Brock Bila, LHS junior and his teammate Thomas Heinen won the 2018 TBF/FLW State High School Bass Fishing Title back in March. The team advances to the FLW High School Nationals, which run from June 26-30 on Lake Pickwick in Florence, Alabama. Bila moved to Louisburg last year as a sophomore. He has been fishing since he was five years old and has many accomplishments throughout the years. He has helped hold local high school tournaments this last year at Middle Creek and Louisburg Lake. This year he also earned a spot on the 2018 Kansas State Team (adults 16+), which is a huge honor and very competitive. The team consists of the top sixteen anglers in all of Kansas. Bila won and is now the Kansas State Champion Co-Angler and will go on to fish in the National Championship sometime in October. From the National Championship he could potentially win a spot in the Bassmaster Classic which is literally the Super Bowl of fishing. Congrats Brock and a job well done. Good Luck in October!
