Beginning and Ending the Day

      The substitute should check in with the school’s office upon reporting to work.  Necessary keys, lesson plans, and related materials and information will be given at the office. Through Aesop, the teacher may attach lesson plans for the specific sub taking the assignment.

 

      Please complete the evaluation forms at the end of the day While you were gone... for the teacher.   The written report left for the regular teacher is appreciated and helpful to the returning teacher. The period following the close of school can be used for written or verbal communication with other school staff.

 

      The substitute should always check out with the office staff at the conclusion of the workday to insure that appropriate paperwork is signed.  This will provide accurate payroll accounting. It is also a good idea to check with the secretary to make sure the contracted teacher will be back.
